NREMT Exam Guarantee

Do the work, and if you still don't pass your first attempt, you don't pay for it. These are the exact requirements, in plain terms, so there is nothing to argue about later.

1. What the guarantee covers

If you complete the MedRelay preparation requirements below on a paid Student Pro subscription and still do not pass your first NREMT cognitive exam attempt, you may claim a refund of the subscription fees you paid toward that attempt. This is separate from, and in addition to, the standard 7-day refund window on a first payment.

2. Who is eligible

You must have held an active, paid Student Pro subscription at the time of your exam. Free-tier accounts, accounts on a lapsed or cancelled subscription, seats provided through an agency or program license, and accounts whose access was granted at no charge are not eligible. The guarantee applies to individual subscribers only.

3. Preparation requirements

You must complete every High Score scenario at 80% or higher before your exam date. There are 10 of them: Anaphylaxis, Opioid Overdose, Cardiac Arrest — Adult, Chest Pain and Heart Attack, Stroke, Collapsed Lung — Tension, Trauma - Hemorrhagic Shock, Low Blood Sugar — Severe, Seizure — Status Epilepticus, Pediatric Asthma Attack. Your progress toward this requirement is tracked in your account settings, and the claim form only unlocks once every scenario is complete. Completions recorded after your exam date do not count toward a claim for that attempt.

4. Claim window and documentation

Submit your claim within 30 days of your exam date. We will request your official NREMT result showing a failed first attempt on the EMT cognitive exam, and the name on that result must match the name on your MedRelay account. Claims without verifiable official documentation cannot be approved.

5. First attempt only

The guarantee applies to your first NREMT cognitive exam attempt at the EMT level. Retest attempts, exams at other certification levels, psychomotor examinations, and state-specific examinations are not covered. The guarantee may be claimed once per person.

6. How claims are reviewed

Submitting a claim opens a review; it does not trigger an automatic refund. We verify subscription status, scenario completion, and your submitted documentation before making a decision. We aim to respond within 10 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically settle within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

7. What happens to your account

If a refund is approved, the subscription associated with that refund is cancelled and paid access ends. You keep your account, your run history, and your debrief records.

8. Fair use

The guarantee is void where scenario completions were obtained through automated tools, shared or transferred accounts, or any manipulation of scoring. We reserve the right to decline claims where records indicate the preparation requirements were not genuinely met, and to limit repeated claim submissions from a single account.

9. What this guarantee is not

MedRelay is an independent training product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Nothing here is a prediction or warranty of your exam result, and no study product can guarantee a passing score. This guarantee is a refund commitment on the price you paid us, and nothing more.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect on the date your subscription payment was made is the version that applies to your claim. Material changes will be reflected in the last-updated date below.
