Terms of Service
These terms govern access to MedRelay, including simulator use, subscriptions, payment, and educational disclaimers.
Educational Software Disclaimer
MedRelay is educational training software and is NOT a medical device. It is not approved by the FDA, NREMT, or any medical regulatory body. Simulator outputs are for training purposes only and must never be used to guide actual patient care decisions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, purchasing access, or using MedRelay, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
MedRelay provides educational EMT-B simulation, study, scoring, and documentation training. It is a training tool only. It is not a substitute for formal EMS education, state protocols, instructor judgment, medical direction, or professional clinical training.
3. User Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or otherwise authorized by a parent, program, school, or agency to use MedRelay. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
4. Subscription and Payment Terms
Student Pro is $24/month, or $19/month when billed annually at $228/year. Program pilots are quoted separately. Student Pro subscriptions may receive pro-rated refunds within 7 days if unused. Payments are processed by Stripe; MedRelay does not store full card numbers.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use MedRelay to guide actual patient care, attempt to bypass access controls, overload the platform, reverse engineer the service, harvest data, share credentials, or submit unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.
6. Intellectual Property
MedRelay software, simulations, scoring logic, prompts, study content, designs, trademarks, and related materials are owned by MedRelay or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for training.
7. Disclaimers
MedRelay is provided as-is and as-available. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, clinical completeness, regulatory approval, exam passage, or fitness for any real-world patient care use.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedRelay is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or clinical damages, including decisions made in real patient care. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
